Vater MVT3 Timpani Mallets feature a hard felt tip that produces the clearest rhythmic timbre.

Vater’s Timpani Mallet line features seven distinct traditional models in straight and tapered Sugar Maple shafts, as well as 3 Mallet/Stick Hybrid mallet models. These mallets produce a variety of tonal colors necessary for expressive performance on timpani, drumset or cymbals.
