The Ibanez Premium RG1027PBF is a seven-string model and is part of the most recognisable range from this iconic manufacturer. The RG guitar has been defined by three decades of metal music and development, making them equipped for speed and strength.
An iconic Wizard 11-piece neck is crafted from Wenge, Bubinga, Maple and Purpleheart that all contribute to the rigidity of the neck and enhanced sustain. This neck has a strong Wenge fingerboard attached to it that is adorned with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and Ibanezs Premium Fret Edge Treatment. This attention to detail leads to premium hand-rolled fret edges that enhance the speed and comfort of this guitar. The stainless steel frets add a bright tone and improved durability and smoothness for bending. A luminescent side dot inlay helps players identify fretboard marks when performing on dark stages.
Equipped with DiMarzio pickups, the combination of two PAF 7 models with passive outputs and ceramic magnets produce both a sound that is clean and open on the low notes, and warm and rounded on the high notes. When combined with a built-in 5-way pickup switch, this guitar is capable of delivering a range of sounds suitable for many genres. A Tight-End R Bridge is designed to anchor with rigidity and accuracy. The Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads achieve incredible tuning stability, cutting down string-changing time.
