Features the new Super Wizard neck with the same dimensions as the original 1987 Wizard but even stronger, thanks to 5-pc construction.
The legendary original Edge Tremolo bridge was one of the most reliable double-locking systems for 80’s shred guitarists. Paul was a heavy whammy user in that period.
Dimarzio PAF-Pro Humbuckers and a true single coil FS-1 are the mighty combination for Paul’s searing, shredding and even crystal clear tone. All can be dialed in with the Ibanez Sprit-5 switching system.
The traditional neck joint has a metal plate with 4 screws, yet the tilt joint still offers easy upper fret access. Paul likes this original neck joint for its tonal characteristics, and it can be found on the latest PGM401 model.
